约一4:7-12 爱从神而来
1. 彼此相爱以神的爱为源头
基督的牺牲为榜样
2. 彼此相爱是神圣的，也是爱神的
我很高兴，能使用今天经文来与两位新人分享爱的真理。这个婚礼是他们两人之间爱的见证，而这爱也是将来维系家庭的必要元素。然而基督徒的爱不可与当代流行的浪漫情愫混为一谈，也跟中国人传统家庭的观念中夫妻的感情有分别。今天的圣经说，基督徒的爱来自神。我诚心的愿望，从神而来的爱，流露在他们的生活当中，使他们的家庭蒙福，彼此相爱，又爱他们的儿女；这样生活在神的爱中，就能抵挡现今世俗败坏的风气，一生一世的相守。
这里的圣经说基督徒能彼此相爱，因为爱是从神而来（17）。而神的爱，在十字架上清楚的显明出来了。（9-10；罗5:8，唯有（耶稣）基督在我们还作罪人的时候为我们死，神的爱就在此向我们显明了。）就是说，当我们还自以为是，目中无神，犯罪而不羞耻的时候，神先让祂的爱子为我们死 了，让我们相信耶稣的人可以得救。十字架所显明的是神牺牲爱子的爱，也是耶稣基督忠心于父神的旨意，顺服牺牲的爱。但愿这种牺牲的爱，能激励一对新人同样的方式相爱，不自我中心，并且顺服神的旨意，忠心的持守这个家。
有神的爱在家庭中，也是让神临在于家庭当中（12，我们若彼此相爱，神就在我们里面，爱祂的心也在我们里面得以完全）。这里说的神在我们里面，就是能与祂一起，与祂有团契的意思。有了神的团契，就是将本来属于地上的小家庭带来了属天的性质，有神圣的一面。而这神圣的一面，是绝大多数中国人家庭所不知道的，甚至连一些基督徒的家庭也没有注意，所以希望一对新人注意了。不单如此，这里教导说，彼此相爱，也表达我们对神的爱，是讨祂的喜悦。
最后，我心里祝愿，但愿神的爱，既带来这个新家庭和谐又神圣的关系，又使他们以爱来事奉神。愿他们一生蒙福，直主再来。
I am very pleased to have this chance to share this passage of love with the new couple. Today’s wedding service is a testimony of the love between them, and this love will also be the crucial element in binding their new family together. However, the love in this passage, is not the romance in popular culture term, nor the compassion between a husband and a wife defined in Chinese tradition. Today’s passage tells us that the love between Christians comes from God. I sincerely pray that this divine love will be brought into their daily life, to let their new family be blessed, to let them build up the bond of love, and also to love their children. Then they will be able to resist the temptation from the worldly corrupting trend, and to support each other until the day comes.
Here the Bible says that Christians can love one another because the love comes from God (V.17), and this love has been fully revealed on the cross. (READ V.9-10; OR Rom5:8; But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we are still sinners, Christ died for us.) In other words: when we are still arrogant and ignorant of God, when we are still sinning shamelessly, God has given his Son to us and died for us, so that those who believe in Jesus Christ will be saved. Jesus on the cross has demonstrated God’s sacrificial love; and at the same time, Jesus Christ has also demonstrated his willingness to obey the Father’s will, to show His love to the Father in submission and sacrifice. We hope that this sacrificial love can encourage our new couple to love each other accordingly, to resist self-centredness, and to submit to God’s will to hold onto their family faithfully.
When God’s love is in a family, it is also an indication of the fellowship of God be with the family. (READ V.12, but if we love each other, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us) ‘God lives in us’ means that we are together with God, be in fellowship with Him, and this fellowship will bring along a holy dimension to this earthly family. I must say that a lot of Chinese families do not know this holy dimension, not even some Chinese Christian families; therefore I hope our new couple can take note about this cultural problem. And there is more from the passage, it teaches us that we love each other in order to demonstrate our love to God, in order to please Him.
Finally, I wish that God’s love will provide them a holy and harmonious relationship, and also the courage to serve the Lord in love. May God bless them throughout the rest of their lives, until the coming of our Lord.
